Australian National Carbon Farming Outreach program launched

Like the majority of nations respondent to International sustainability and carbon emission targets, Australia has been rolling out a mixture of educational programs, voluntary incentives and mandatory regulations in all sectors to mitigate total carbon emissions. 

In March 2025, Southern Farming Systems, in collaboration with the Grower Group Alliance and funding from the Australian Government’s Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, launched the National Carbon Farming Outreach program across Victoria. 

In a series of sessions targeted at growers and industry stakeholders across the State, sustainability experts provided an overview of the science and politics of GHG . . .
