Despite the introduction and then removal of Chinese tariffs on Australian barley imports over the last 4-5 years, Australian barley export numbers have been incredibly resilient and consistently at record levels. It appears that despite political disruptions, the world prices barley to consume each year’s crop and Australia, being a key exporter, has and is likely to sell it’s production, with or without open markets.

Of course, this is never without a lot of work from the whole supply chain . . .
